Cap: 3.75" wide; context 3/16" thick; greyish brown; patch of white universal veil tissue with rusty discolorations; dry; 1/2" striations at margin
Gills: white; free
Stipe: 4" h x 7/8" thick; mostly even, very slightly thicker toward bottom; scaly, grey over white, no ring; volva mostly attached, but flaring at the top with rusty discolorations; odor mild
