thallus pale gray K+y, epihymenium brown K-, spores 8 per ascus smooth evenly pigmented brown in maturity not swelling in K type-A development cells strongly triangular at mid-maturity becoming rounded but never fully losing apical thickenings ~physcia-type ~16-17×7-8um
