Notes:
Reminded again of Paneolus. Chocolate-brown to purplish-brown gills which seem mostly free from the stipe; cap tawny to slighly grayish-brown; pileus over 1 inch wide; stipe with curious twisting lines or ridges. Tiny amount of basal mycelium present.
