Observation 234846: Conocybe tenera group

No specimen available

These were growing in woody debris, probably a hardwood.
Caps up to 2.2 cm across.
Couldn’t get a significant spore drop.
A handful of spores measured ~ 13 X 8.5 microns, with a large germ pore.
They decayed before I had a chance to dry them.

Based on microscopic features: Needs caulocystidia to even start to go anywhere…
