I am not saying that it IS either of the two species mentioned.
Rather, I am noting that there are species within two other closely related genera that are macroscopically more similar than these are to any Parasola that I am familiar with.

These do not really remind me of any [i]Parasola[/i] species.

Coprinellus disseminatus (on wood or woody debri) or Coprinopsis stercorea (on horse or cow dung) look more similar, though they inhabit different substrate.

Not sure which genus to go with here, but I doubt Parasola.
