I’m still trying to get a feel for the difference between Ramalina intermedia and R. pollinaria.

Ramalina intermedia might be confused with R. pollinara, as they have similar branches with soredia and occur on rocks. However, R. intermedia can be easily distinguished from the latter species by its laciniae that develop from a narrow holdfast

Not entirelyyy sure what that means.

no intermedia, so must be pollinaria or intermedia was overlooked by Kerry and co.
