supports B. campestris. Although often found in grassy areas, B. campestris also grows in the woods.

These were growing in leaf litter under mixed hardwoods. Just the red caps were sticking up above the leaves. At first I suspected they were little red Hygrocybes. The tiny size seems significant for a bolete.
