it didn’t have nearly as much distribution in northern temperate areas as it does, so yea, that’s probably what it is. carry on

I’m currently in Indiana. I still have the specimen though. Is this a “Xylocoremium”? I skimmed the paper describing X. flabelliforme and this seemed to fit.
