Yes the colors have been edited, yes the mushrooms look good, no the colors really don’t look like that when seen in dark green light filtering through a canopy of trees. Maybe what I’m doing is mushroom glamor photography. I don’t know.
For “true” color in natural light look at the bottom photo, not nearly as attractive.
Hey, I was wondering if the image with the two mushrooms was the original, or whether it was modified at all? If it was modified, would it be possible for you to upload the original? The image has been nominated by me for featured picture status on Wikipedia- see http://en.wikipedia.org/...- and people were wondering about the colours.
