Growing in East Texas on the side of a hill, just on top of a aprox 10-15ft creekside cliff. Mostly burried under leaf litter. Woods are mixed deciduous/conifer but this specific area was predominantly hardwood.

  • Yellow pileus with white hymenium and yellow/whitish stipe.
  • Stipe was white and solid
  • Hymenium stained red when cut with knife and after cleaning them with a damp paper towel, they also stained.
  • No reaction to KOH.
  • Spit test and smell was not notable.
