Another example of the effect of fog drip at Point Reyes in late July.
Amanita gemmata or at least what traditionally is called that locally.
The white spores were not amyloid, subellipsoid to subglobose, ave. approx. 10.0 X 7.5 microns, and with a fairly distinct hilar appendage.
