It’s appearance at first glance is the easily recognized Shaggy Mane, but this…it almost looks like it didn’t form properly.

I suspected it could have been a fungal parasite (mold). This is the first I’ve found! Interesting even more as it looks like it’s barely been studied. Too bad I didn’t take a sample.
