Observation 23795: Exobasidium rhododendri (Fuckel) C.E.Cramer
When: 2009-08-01
Collection location: Storžič, Slovenia [Click for map]
Who: BubikolRamios
No specimen available
Notes:
The bottom two images make me belive this is something familiar to exobasidium rhododendri (otherwise I would think this is fruit), although this is not Rhododendron hirsutum. The plant is 20 cm height bush, mybe flower like structure in upper right corner tells you more.
Max diameter of red thing > 1cm.

googled around and seems Exobasidium rhododendri can be red colored, not just yellow
