Found under mixed conifers mainly Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Ponderosa Pine, although the closest tree was a Douglas Fir. Slow and very slight bruising to a light brown. Deep splitting on pileus, gills irregular and split, gills also extend down stipe. Texture is very firm. Odor is mild but not unpleasant.
