Whatever these mushrooms are, they pop up in large clusters after rain on moss covered logs along stream bottoms. I caught this colony at the perfect time. As these mushrooms mature, the caps split and they look ugly. They are quite common. I’ll make a more detailed observation next time I’m out that way.

There are Mycenas with decurrent gills too …

I think the body shape here is wrong for Mycena, with the decurrent gills. I think you are more into the Omphalina/Rickenella/Arrhenia area here.
