When: 2009-08-05

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
An unusual-looking mushroom. Tall, but not wide (3cm), solitary, in Zone 45 under mixed mostly-hardwoods, it has interesting gill attachment. The stipe rooted somewhat in the leaf litter, some of which was stuck on pretty tight. No indications of veils.
