Discs about 5 mm, found in three fireplaces in the campground.
Spores 8 microns. Asci ~150 × 9.
For the id, used Beug & Bessette & Bessette “Ascomycete Fungi of North America”, with Lamprospora pyrophila Snyder given as a synonym. Other similar species found on burned substrate seem to have much larger spores.
