Observation 241155: Laccaria Berk. & Broome

On a path under white pine; area which produces lots of L. laccata.

This solitary mushroom is larger and more robust than then typical L. laccata. Cap diameter about 2 inches.

Spores are a bit smaller than reported for laccata, 6.5-7 × 6-7.
