Found this guy while driving home the other night. it was growing on the border of where the woods area meets the grass. The puff ball was growing more towards the grassy area. Well this was in a residential area in West Virginia well as residential as it gets. As i was setting up the camera for this shot i could here the yap yap of two min pins running towards me so i snapped as many pics and grabbed the thing just as two min pin’s came close to getting me. They almost got the ol pant leg. In the last pic is the newly awarded West Virginia mushroom queen holding the puff ball. You can see the excitement on her face. actually she is one of my fellow mushroom hunting buds.
