Observation 242322: Laccaria Berk. & Broome

Notes:

Cap: 2 cm
Stem dia: 2 mm
Stem length: 9.5 cm & 6.5 cm
Basal filaments: white
Growing near hardwoods.

Appears to be either Laccaria striatula or L. laccata.
Kuo says: L. striatula’s stem is 2-7 cm long, reddish brown, contrasting with paler overall color of mature cap, which fits. L. laccata has stem colored more or less like the cap. Probably need spores.
