Observation 24264: Russula

When: 2009-08-12

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

The ubiquitous bright pink Russulas of the red-pine forest are still out in force, albeit in smaller numbers than the hordes seen on the previous two trips into that region. I photographed a selection of not-godawful-condition specimens in Zones 07 and 24.
