Observation 244766: Boletus separans Peck

Yellow-tan bolete fruiting on ground, upland hardwoods. Cap ~6.5 cm. No bruising.


Knife scale: Orange handle 6.5 cm, entire length with blade 12 cm.

I cant see the colors well but is that possible that the stipe was purpulish.
If is it could be Boletus separan.

mushrooms, but the cap was not at all cinnamon colored. It was more of a tan-yellow. Thank you for the tip.
