Notes:
This was brought to me. Location is approximate. This wants to key out to A. ellisii in Aurora, but it stains yellow, not green. Or could it just be A. ovinus? I did not look at the spores under a microscope, or try any staining tests. The cap is distinctly fibrillose. Not sure what kind of trees it was with, I would suspect Engelmann spruce, and/or grand fir. Please help as this is considered a sensitive species for the US Forest Service.
