Note the blue tones in the leaves behind the mushroom. Colors are enhanced in the photo so that this brown mushroom will stand out from its brown background. It’s not orange, its highly saturated brown.

The cap on this mushroom is not orange or red, it’s really a highly chromatic brown.
that I find in PA usually shows more yellow on the cap, especially near the margin; with the orange/browinsh color (seen here) in the cap center.
