This species has a yolk yellow cap surface and yolk yellow gill color but not a chrome yellow base of stipe, is very fragile and relatively tiny, has mild taste and smells like vinegar when drying or rotting … I have no name for this for American Russulas are different from European for sure (maybe with the exception of some Canadian areas).
