Does anyone know what thsi is? Found on Sphagnum in a wet area. The microscopic picture wasa bit more yellow. I could not see how these sporelike things were attached. Or is this part of the moss?

and nobody has been able to tell me what it is.
About ten years ago I brought some to Sam Ristich at a COMA foray who hooted and holy cowed at it but didn’t know what it was. Somebody suggested Endogne? but I don’t remember who. Does it have really large spores?

Give Andrus plenty of crap for me…
