Hygrorhorus (Camarophyllus) borealis var. salnoneus

The descriptions in Hestler & Smith’s “N. A. Species of Hygrophorus” corresponds well with the appearance in the photos especially the salmon blush seen on the cap surface. Clearly though, this cluster of white, decurrent gilled Hygrophorus (borealis, niveus, virgineus)are difficult if not impossible to distingish from photos.
