Notes:
Found this at Ha Ha Tonka MOMS Foray in Missouri Ozarks mixed hardwoods. It is 3 1/2 – 4" tall, cap is 2 – 2 1/2" across. It looked like an Amanita but no bulb and gills mature dark brown. This one is not described many places but is in Mushroom Expert.

Cool find … Jay told me what these were when I found one at Ha Ha Tonka.
I also did not find any color illustrations when I did a search, although I
did track down a small B&W engraving from an old article. Glad you got these
up!
