Notes:
Found in a mixed hardwood forest on a standing beech tree, on a drizzly day, after two days of fairly heavy rain. The display began about 5’ off the ground and ran up the trunk to about 15’. The light, cream-colored caps were smooth, soft and pliable. Spore deposit: bluish lilac.
