Orange-peel cup fungus growing in a moist patch of Zone 12.
Zone 12 seems to be particularly diverse in terms of mushrooms not found elsewhere in the region. Besides this, we have had Ascocoryne sp., Morchella sp., Phaeolus schweinitzii, Phyllotopsis nidulans, Tapinella atrotomentosa, an unidentified Rhizopogon-esque hypogeous fungus, and others seen in Zone 12 and not seen in any other Zone of the same woods.
