Growing scattered near the edge of a path under norway spruce. Bald cypress nearby. Caps sticky. I believe that the caps were hygrophanous and faded from darker caramel-brown almost to buff, but this is from re-examining the pictures after the fact and might not be true. Stems with a relatively even width from base to apex. Gills sinuate.
