I’ve come to be suspect of jacksonii in the south (except in the mountains).

maybe not as well defined as many I’ve seen — these were a little older, a bit faded. But I’ll be happy to grab more of them for you if you like. I kind of feel like these are so commonly out at this point it’s hard to imagine them anything else — especially with the bright red button stage right there.

The images of the stipes don’t show the ragged red-orange decoration…

that is characteristic of jacksonii. Maybe this is something like sp-AR01?
