Hi Kate, I didn’t notice any colour changes but it was a solitary specimen and I didn’t really want to disturb it.

Did you take notice if the flesh bruised a redish color?

Did you take note of the gill color? Very lovely image I would expect nothing less from your camera! I asked if the fungi bruised red do to the remark (Possibly A. rubesens ) common name the blusher. Bruising or age produce a redding color to the flesh. Kate
