Used references: via communication with David Arora – “Oligoporus is the modern genus for that species. Tyromyces species causing brown rots were transferred to it, while those causing white rots have mostly stayed in Tyromyces. Did the cap surface have small circular spots or slight depressions? That is more diagnostic of guttulatus than the white undersides” The cap did have both small circular spots and slight depressions.
