First found it in October, 2011, revisited few times over the last 5 years.

Last time observed and photographed in September, 2016.

The surface length is about 70 cm. The host tree is reduced to a rotting stump.

Web search led to the observation 58480 by Erin Page Blanchard, who discovered that same individual a year before me, in 2010.
How cool is that!
