Observation 26292: Polyporus squamosus (Huds.) Fr.

Found about 2 feet above ground on a small dead but standing box elder on a small stream that feeds into Darby Creek. The cap measured 8cm, the stem 5-6cm, and the flesh 2cm.

Specimen (dried) retained in my personal collection.
