Observation 2632: Entoloma P. Kumm.

When: 2007-02-24

Collection location: Howarth Park, Santa Rosa, California, USA [Click for map]

Who: Debbie Drechsler (debdrex)

No specimen available

I think this might be the same species as Observation 2444, but don’t know what species that might be. The pileus is slippery but not slimy.

Looks like an Entoloma to me. The stipe and pileus look right. The gills look a bit pinkish to me. They are a bit wide-spaced for Entoloma, but that’s not really enough to eliminate the possibility. The real issue is the spore color.
