Observation 26461: Lactarius Pers.

When: 2009-10-08

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
Found in Zone 60. Couldn’t provoke fresh latex. There were a few scattered under some conifers quite close to the river bank. Possibly Lactarius, possibly one of the more Lactarius-like Russulas, though does not seem to be R. laurocerasi.
