Growing near Fagus grandifolia, Carya sp., Quercus sect. Lobatae, Fraxinus sp. and Acer saccharum. Pores bruising blue. Stems with small red pruina. Basal mycelium yellow. Context yellow, bruising blue in the cap and without red dots in the base.
