Notes:
Growing near Quercus sect. Lobatae, Fagus grandifolia, Tsuga canadensis, Pinus strobus, Ostrya virginiana and Acer saccharum.
Pores pinkish to grayish and bruising brown. Context white without opaque areas and not staining. Taste bitter. Did not notice any staining on the cap.
