Observation 26499: Mycena inclinata (Fr.) Quél.

When: 2009-10-10

Collection location: Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Bob Zuberbuhler (Bob Z)

No specimen available

A medium size mushroom found in a cluster on a rotting log. The cap is bell-shaped with an indented apex. Darker brown fading to light tan near the margin. The peripheral half of the cap is radially lined. The gills are tan and extend to the edge of the cap. No unusual odor. I think this is Common Mycena but would value other opinions.
