To get biological material abroad requires a formal agreement between research institutions. I´m too old to head that way without any chance of success.

You keep posting this same taxon! (See, for example: 258191, 253198, 253613, & 237548.) It’s a really cool one: penzigioid, and with a persistent white ectostromatal coating; if you get a chance to collect one at some point, I’d love to take a closer look and help you figure out what species it is.
Ah, true. I don’t have any professional relationships established in Colombia right now — I’d like to, but between the funding situation and all the other projects demanding my time right now, I haven’t been able to. I’d like to take a year at some point and visit a bunch of countries down there, establishing ties with herbaria and researchers interested in ascomycetes, if I can ever afford the time off! One of these days…
