Notes:
Growing on a sandy riverbank near Quercus sect. Lobatae, Populus grandidentata and Fraxinus sp. Fruiting body ~5.5 cm high. Cap ~3.5 cm wide, finely roughened, and areolate at the margins. Stem red over its entire length and covered in small red pruina. Pores bruising blue.
