The Farlow Herbarium isn’t MushroomObserver.

Maybe you should go bother them instead.

The Code of Nomenclature also doesn’t know what making comments on MushroomObserver is, so maybe you should stop doing that.

If you think using the name Rhodophyllus byssisedus is a compromise, then maybe you should stop trying to call any mushrooms any names ever.

And if you think having seen a species has anything to do with taxonomic/MO name opinions, then maybe you should stop having opinions on how anything in the world works, ever.

It seems like you’re being willfully obtuse, but surely you aren’t.

It seems like you don’t understand how nomenclature or MO works, but surely you do.

Maybe we should talk on the phone and eliminate the text vs speech barrier.

Individual humans peak in certain years, but humanity as a whole, at least mycology, gets smarter over time.

I have lots of modern literature on the Entolomataceae that I’d be happy to share with you.
