I only am basing this on similarity to one which was I found and ID’d at NEMF on the campus at Bowdoin in 2013 by Jason Karakehian. I believe I looked at it in Fungi of Switzerland, and/or another book he had during his microscopy workshop, but don’t remember much in the way of details as it was the first Asco I ever scoped.

to scoping for confirmation. i collected what I thought was Propolis in a mixed hardwood forest in New Jersey. Turns out to be an undescribed species of Mellitiosporiella (Observation 258054).

Definitely have not seen it out and about
