Recognized by sight: If cap flesh is yellow before bluing and stipe flesh is white before rufescence. Furhter, the red/pink in the cap will be restricted to ares under the scales and between them when maturity comes. Too young to be sure.

is quite abundant in the Central Coast region of NSW right now. B. emodensis was out earlier, but has gone by, and now B. ananiceps is on the rise.
