Notes:
Pileus: 2-3.4 cm in diam; strongly hygrophanous, 4D7 (at disc) to 3B7 (at margin) when young to 4A3 to 5C3 in age; conspicuously striate, striations up to 7mm long, occasionally splitting at margin along striations; flesh very thin and fragile, breaking easily.
Lamellae: white to yellowish when young to 6C6 (en masse) / 6D4 (face view) in age; sinuate to barely free; leaving impressions at the stipe apex; up to 3mm broad; lamellulae present in one series, irregularly spaced, ~1/2 length of full gill.
Stipe: ~3.5-4.5 cm in length x ~2 mm thick; generally concolorous with pileus though lighter above; enlarged at the base, up to 6mm; upper 1-1.5 cm covered in a later of erect, billowy, fine white hairs; surface somewhat iridescent, more so when young; apparently hollow at all stages.
