that hair length is significant, as are spore dimensions. I would suggest referring to or duplicating your ascomycete posts at either the Ascomycetes of the World facebook group and/or AscoFrance.

What should I be looking for in my microscopy to get this to species? Is Dasyscyphus the preferred genus name over Lachnum?
