This specimen was found on Our NJ Mycological Association foray today in a grassy area near the edge of the woods. It is has a faded blue green cap and stem with a cortina like band on the stipe. The spore print was black. It was handed to me so I didn’t see it until it was picked and handled by several people.

Black spore print and black ring on the stipe.

If you take the spore print on a black medium, then deviation from the color black is easier to notice. (White can cause too much contrast.)
