Half a dozen fruiting in a residential lawn appearing terrestrial, but presumably on buried wood. Wood-chip mulch and several species of hardwood trees nearby. Largest cap: 8 cm., brown hairy fibers at center; white free gills beginning to turn pink. Stipe: 6 cm. X 1.1 cm., essentially equal, firm and white with slight discoloration and streaks of brownish fibers below. KOH negative. Spore print pending. I expect it will be pink since gills are already turning pinkish.
Addendum: Obtained a flesh-colored, pink spore print. Image added.
